What Is VCE ?

VCE Exam Simulator is a test engine designed specifically for certification exam preparation. It allows you to create, edit, and take practice tests in an environment very similar to an actual exam.
For more details, please visit the official website here. It gives you the platforms to open certification exam dumps. Many people use exam dumps to get acquainted with the question types and look and feel of the exam environment screen.It's always recommended to get the latest dumps as it will help you to avoid the outdated exam pattern. Below is the screenshot of the simulator. You can easily see that it follows the real exam pattern of question sets.

We all have list of our favorite movies that we want to watch as early as possible.But what after that..what after we are done with that.We look for suggestions or search internet to find some good movies to watch.But what if there is a site where we can watch trailers of different movies and then decide what we have to watch...

For that just go here : Movies Movies Movies !!

Once you will go on this site , it will automatically start featuring different trailers just like this :

You will also notice one thing here, it doesn't require any login or registration...

Once you go to the bottom left , you will also see some options..

Enjoy !!!

You might had faced this problem several times and probably fixed it also. But do you know there is more than one way to fix this particular problem? So, in this post I will talk about why this problem occurs and what are the possible fixes for this problem.

My table structure:

Why this occurs?

 Each group is represented by only one result row; therefore, all expressions that appear in those clauses must guarantee a single result value per group. There’s no problem referring directly to elements that appear in the GROUP BY clause because each of those returns only one distinct value per group. But if you want to refer to elements from the underlying tables that don’t appear in the GROUP BY list, you must apply an aggregate function to them. That’s how you can be sure that the expression returns only one value per group.
Possible fixes:

First fix would be to put that specific column into the GROUP BY clause.

Apply an aggregate function on that column; like in this scenario I have applied MAX function. Because the values are getting grouped by CLASS and the City are same for both person belonging to a particular CLASS. This will work here. But this will not work in a situation where both persons belong  to different City. So, use it but with care…

This fix is my favorite one and I use it a lot in my work. I can take all the aggregate functions and group by things in a CTE (Common Table Expression) and use it to join the main table. In this way, I don’t have to worry about the putting columns under any kind of function or in any group by clause.But In this scenario we don't have any primary key to take join.

Let's say there is an id field in our table. Then we can try something like this :

I have been covering Group By since my last two posts.This time I will tell you , how to run the same using Python. There is a specific driver to use MongoDB with Python , known as PyMongo.We will use this driver to for any operation on MongoDB.

I am going to use the same collection which I had created in my last post. I am using PyCharm as my IDE. If you are interested , look for my post in which I had already explained how to install this IDE.

Enough talk, come to the point now...

I am performing the same operation here.Selecting the Minimum age value from the dataset.Our programme will look like this:

Some simple steps here:

from pymongo import MongoClient : This will always be the first step.
conn = MongoClient()          : connection string
db = conn.info                      : connecting info database
col = db.info                         : connecting info collection ( !! same name of db and collection)
print col.aggregate([{"$group": {"_id":"0", "minAge": {"$min":"$Age"}}}])
                                            : simply printing the minimum value

In the last post, we have seen how to use GROUP BY in Mongodb. Now, we can use this knowledge to get the MAX and MIN values from the dataset.

Ok, so first we will see  SQL's way...

This is a very basic query. We can also use many other options with this query.I will try to cover more in my next post.

So now, NoSql's way...

Nothing complicated, just created info collection and inserted some values into it.

We have all data with us...So, we can look for the min values now...

 We are grouping the values based on the Id's here.But what if I want to see only the min value in whole group..you can try this one:

Just replace $min with $max, and you can get the max value.

We all use GROUP BY clause in Sql platforms (like SQL SERVER) extensively. It's simple..

SELECT * FROM (TABLE)
WHERE (CONDITION)
GROUP BY (COLUMN NAME)

I know it's a bit queasy feeling when we have to go out of our comfort zone and do the same thing in a different platform.But it's also fun..

So, how to do it ??

I will explain each step with screenshot to get you the clear view of everything...

First , we will create a collection and insert some data into it..

To confirm, we have data in the collection :

db.product.find().pretty()

So, now we have data in the collection, we can use GROUP by using the below mentioned commands..

In the above screenshot, we are grouping data based on the type. Also, adding some more information using $addToSet ...

That's it !!!

Scenario:

Suppose, we have to append some values in a given string or a number to make it a certain length (like 10 character ) string.

This example will give you clear idea...

We have a value of 7 characters but the requirement is of 10 character length string and appending zeroes in front if the length is not of 10 characters.So, we can use the trick as mentioned in the above screenshot.

Now, let's discuss about one particular situation where this trick may fail...

So, you can see here.. appending doesn't happen here..
To make it work, we have to use LTRIM(RTRIM()) to remove extra spaces from string...

Got our zeroes back !!! :)

You need not to install any heavy SDK or any setup to run your first Jquery programme. It was a bit confusing for me also to figure out how to run this.              But finally, I figured it out and ready to share with you guys….

Ok, So first thing you need to do :

Go to this site and click on Download Jquery.

It will open this file in your browser itself.
You can save this file with .js extension( jquery.js ) and place it in a specific folder.
Now, create a HTML file with .html extension and also place this html file in the same folder.

A simple programme:

When you click on the hide button, it will hide the message.

My html file looks like this :

You can see two .js files:

  1. One file that we have saved earlier, you must name it correctly. Because html and js , both files are in the same folder, so you don't have to specify the full path here.
  2. Second file is our javascript file where we will write a simple jquery code.It's better to keep all your code in a separate file.So, this file will look like this :

As you can see , referring the elements with Ids...

Button Id      : hide_message
Paragraph Id : message

Video Tutorial :
I have found Newboston Jquery tutorial very useful and awesome.There are around 200 videos for Jquery tutorial available on Youtube.
Based on the return values, we can divide the function in 3 type :

  1. Scalar function
  2. Inline table valued function
  3. Multistatement table valued function
Often people talk about whether we can use function to insert values into tables.
Well, there is a way.I know a lot of people use function just to return a single value from function (that's Scalar function).May be that's the reason they are not aware of other usage of function.

So, let's see with a very simple example....

This is nothing but a Multistatement table valued function....

Points To Remember:

Multistatement table-valued functions allow a developer to dynamically populate a table in multiple steps that are similar to those of a stored procedure, but they can be referenced as tables in a SELECT statement.

When using a multistatement table-valued function, the structure of the table must be defined in the header of the function. A variable name is used for the table, and all operations that modify data can reference only the table variable.

CREATE FUNCTION MULTIROWS ()

/*********** @temp variable of TABLE type********/

RETURNS @temp TABLE
(
    NAME VARCHAR(20),
    ID            INT,
    CITY VARCHAR(20)
)
AS
BEGIN

/*********** Refer temp variable for inserting data ********/

        INSERT INTO @temp VALUES
        ('ROX',1,'NY'),
        ('JOY',2,'LKO'),
        ('ANT',3,'DL')

    RETURN
END
GO

Get Results :

SELECT * FROM MULTIROWS()

This is going to be a simple programme to sort data in Pymongo ( MongoDB + Python).

I am using Pycharm as my IDE. I have already covered how to install Pycharm in my previous post.

So, you already know how to insert data in MongoDB.

Structure :

Database name : school
Collection         : students

Just 5 lines code to sort data !!!

from pymongo import MongoClient

conn= MongoClient()

db = conn.school

col= db.students

for item in col.find().sort([('name',1)]):
    print (item['name'])

Output at the bottom....
